Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers

Paul Stroud, Jr., of Mooreville was a starting guard on the 1960 state championship team at Northwest, and co-captain in 1961. That same year, he was named All-American and played in the National Junior College All-America football game in Albuquerque, N.M.

In 1962, he transferred to Memphis State University on a football scholarship..
