Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers

Danny Cranford Sr. played football at Northwest during the 1956-57 seasons.

He was chosen in 1957 by the NJCAA as an All-American as co-captain of the East Team. After graduating from Northwest, Cranford lettered in football at The University of Houston for the 1958 and 1959 seasons. He graduated in 1960 with a bachelor’s degree in education and spent his career in the petro-chemical field in Houston.

In 1990, he formed his own company and passed it to two of his children upon his retirement.
