Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers

Joel Posey of Collierville, Tenn., was a star baseball player at Northwest from 2000-01.

Posey led the team to the MACJC State and North Division championships in 2000. That same year, he posted a 7-3 record with a 2.26 ERA, eight complete games and 74 strikeouts in 74 innings of work.

He was named an NJCAA First Team All-American in 2001 and was also a two-time MACJC All-State and All-Region 23 selection in 2000-01.
