SENATOBIA – Northwest Mississippi Community College has released its President's and Vice President's List for the fall 2019 term and a record total of 84 student-athletes have been named to the prestigious lists.

With 84 student-athletes earning recognition to the President's and Vice President's lists, this fall semester shatters the previous record of 81 set during the spring 2017 term.

Those students completing 12 or more semester hours with a grade point average of 3.75 or better in a four-point system were eligible for the recognition on the President's List, while Vice President's List recipients must have had a 3.50-3.74 grade point average. The complete list of those who qualified is below.

Northwest had 146 student-athletes post a 3.0 GPA or better this fall, up from 122 in the 2018 fall semester. A total of 15 student-athletes finished with a perfect 4.0 GPA, up from 12 in fall 2018.

Additionally, seven teams posted a collective 3.0 GPA or higher - softball (3.54), women's basketball (3.43), cheer (3.43), women's soccer (3.43), baseball (3.25), men's basketball (3.22) and football (3.14).
