2019 [Freshman]: Played in seven games for Northwest last season...garnered six tackles on the season, including a season-high two tackles in the Rangers' 56-36 victory at East Mississippi on Oct. 3...off the field, named to the Fall 2019 President's list.

High School: Played for coach Marcus Rogers at Holmes County Central...helped the Jaguars to an 11-2 overall record, a Region 2-5A title and the second round of the Class 5A state playoffs last season...compiled 69 total tackles, 17 quarterback hurries, 15 tackles-for-loss, eight sacks and two forced fumbles as a senior...received interest from nearly every MACJC program.

Personal: Son of Jennifer Grant...one of seven siblings, ranging in age from 17 to 33...hobbies include fishing and relaxing...studying wildlife management...nickname is “Jay”...born September 12, 2000.
