2021: ...off the field, named to the Fall 2020 President's List and the Spring 2021 Vice President's List...recognized as both a Distinguished Academic All-MACCC and first team NJCAA All-Academic selection.

High School: Played for coach Mark Monoghan at DeSoto Central...was a key member of the Jaguars squad that went 34-3 in 2019 on its way to a second straight MHSAA 6A State Championship...awarded DC’s Fireman Award two times as the team’s best relief pitcher after closing the Championship games in both 2018 and 2019...the 2019 Mississippi Gridiron Preseason Player to Watch went 4-1 with three saves, a 1.62 ERA, and a .179 opponent batting average in 14 appearances during his senior season...carried a 2-0 record with a miniscule 0.91 earned run average and 32 strikeouts in 30.2 innings of work during the first championship run in 2018.
