High School: Played for coach Drew Causey at Oak Grove...helped the Warriors to a 12-3 record and a state runner-up finish in the MHSAA 6A state playoffs as a senior...selected to the 6A All-State second team defensive squad by the Mississippi Association of coaches...tallied 57 total tackles, two interceptions and three passes defensed in his senior season...received interest from Southwest...away from the field, was an honor roll student, and a member of the Beta Club, Honor Society, Speech and Debate Club, and the Spanish Club.
