SENATOBIA – For the second consecutive semester, Northwest Mississippi Community College student-athletes have shattered another academic record with 86 total student-athletes named to the President's and Vice President's lists for the spring 2020 term.

This semester's total slightly eclipses the previous record of 84 from the fall 2019 term. Prior to that, 59 student-athletes had made the academic lists during the spring 2019 term.

Those students completing 12 or more semester hours with a grade point average of 3.75 or better in a four-point system were eligible for the recognition on the President's List, while Vice President's List recipients must have had a 3.50-3.74 grade point average. The complete list of those who qualified is below.

Northwest had 138 student-athletes post a 3.0 GPA or better this spring, with a total of 30 student-athletes earning a 4.0 GPA or better.

Additionally, five teams posted a collective 3.0 GPA or higher - women's soccer (3.61), baseball (3.55), softball (3.52), women's basketball (3.46) and football (3.03).
