Football drop to sixth in week three NJCAA national poll

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Northwest Mississippi Community College football team dropped three spots in the most recent polls from the NJCAA, falling to sixth after their 33-31 loss to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, which bumped up to fourth in the rankings. 

The Rangers are one of three teams from Mississippi in the top ten, and four in the top 15 from the MACCC, with East Mississippi Community College checking in at ninth and Itawamba Community College sitting at eleventh. Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Pearl River Community College, and Jones College were all receiving votes in the most recent polls. 

Northwest will be facing off with Co-Lin this week on the road in Wesson, with kickoff scheduled for 6:30 PM on the road.
