Lady Rangers To Play 11 Spring Exhibition Matches

Northwest to host homes matches on March 20

SENATOBIA - After capturing the program's first NJCAA Division II Championship and the second consecutive NJCAA Region 23 title, the Northwest women's soccer team will take a step towards the 2025 season, embarking on a loaded 11-match spring exhibition schedule.

Coach James Beattie's squad makes the short trip to Memphis to kick off the spring season on Saturday, March 1, taking on Christian Brothers University and NCAA Division I program Southern Illinois. Both matches will be held on the campus of CBU at Signaigo Field.

Northwest will then host a pair of home matches on Thursday, March 20 against Soccer Scholar USA and another NCAA Division I opponent, Little Rock. From there, the Lady Rangers travel to Cleveland to face Delta State University and Jackson State University on Saturday, March 29.

Saturday, April 5 will see Northwest pay a visit to Searcy, Ark., taking on Harding University and Arkansas State, before traveling to UT Martin on Thursday, April 10. The Lady Rangers will then wrap up the spring exhibition slate in Jackson, Tenn. on Monday, April 14, facing Bethel University and Union University.

In all, Northwest will face 10 four-year programs, including five NCAA Division I institutions. The Lady Rangers are coming off a perfect 22-0 overall record in 2024, and the 2025 regular season schedule will be announced later this summer.
