SENATOBIA - As the calendar flips from September to October, the focus has shifted to conference play for most college football programs. That once again means several Northwest alums will be part of the national focus for their respective teams.

A total of 22 former Rangers will be in action for FBS programs, while several more will suit up at other levels of college football. A full list of next-level players can be found here.

Three matchups will feature Northwest alums on opposite sidelines, most notably Louisiana vs. South Alabama in Lafayette. Former defensive lineman Nijel McGriff will go up against a Jaguars' team that features Anterrious Gray on the offensive line and linebacker Quentin Wilfawn on the defensive side of the ball.
