2020 [Freshman]: Started all six games for the Rangers on the offensive line...named to the President's List for the Spring 2021 semester.

High School: Played for coach John Perry at Pearl...paved the way for a Pirate offense that averaged 227.1 yards per game on the ground...credited with 65 pancake blocks during his senior season, finishing with 10 or more in three games...chosen to the Mississippi Association of Coaches 6A All-State first team offensive line...represented Mississippi in the Mississippi/Alabama Football Classic...selected to the inaugural Priority One Bank/Mississippi Scoreboard All-Metro first team, MaxPreps All-State first team, Belk Ford All-Southern Elite Sports and the Clarion Ledger All-State second team as an offensive lineman...a member of Pearl’s 2017 6A State Champion team...teammates with current Rangers Sam Brumfield, Kenyatta Harrell and Jarvis Townsend.

Personal: Son of Brandi and Bobby Carter...has two siblings, Destiny Goodin (26) and Devin (21)...enjoys playing video games in his spare time...studying business...nickname is "D-Carter"...born December 11, 2001.
