SENATOBIA – Week seven of college football will see several Rangers take the field with their various teams.
Three week seven games have already played out with two games ending in former Ranger victories. Elliot Helps and Western Kentucky earned the victory over Sam Houston on Wednesday, while Amari Smith and Texas State bested Colorado State on Thursday.
The first big game of the day on Saturday comes when Dre Riley, Jakeen Shumpert, and the #16 Mississippi State Bulldogs hit the road to take on #22 LSU at 11:00 AM on ESPN.
There are only three Ranger vs Ranger matchups to be on the lookout for this weekend. The first of these matchups takes place when Elijah Ruffin and Alcorn State takes on Cameron Pascal and Prairie View A&M at 2:00 PM on HBCU TV. Then, Fredd Adams and #2 Tarleton State take on Jacorey Jones, Cam Young, and Central Arkansas at 4:00 PM on ESPN+ ($). Finally, T.J. Spann, Tanner Welch, Tyeland Coleman, and Arkansas State travel to take on M.J. Johnson and the Southern Miss Golden Eagles at 6:00 PM on ESPN.
As the season continues to progress, more Rangers will find themselves in a bye week. This is the case for five former Rangers this weekend.
