SENATOBIA - Northwest Mississippi Community College women's soccer picked up their third MACCC Player of the Week this season and second Offensive Player of the Week after a stellar performance by
Caroline Perkins saw the freshman from Oxford pick up the first award of her career.
Perkins stood out in the NWCC win over East Mississippi Community College where she netted five goals and had an assist, including three goals in a course of six minutes in the second half on the way to the teams 12-0 win over the Lions. She added another goal in the 11-3 win over Hinds Community College on there road on Friday.Â
The forward entered with only four goals on the season and after more than doubling her totals she is now second on the team in both goals and overall points with 10 goals and 24 total points.Â
