CHARLOTTE - Just a day after earning his first MACCC Goalkeeper of the Week honor, Northwest freshman goalkeeper Jacob Little has received the same award from the NJCAA.

Little helped Northwest to a draw against Itawamba and a win at Holmes last week, earning 20 saves in the process with just two goals surrendered. In the victory at Holmes, the Hernando native recorded his first shutout of the season, as the Rangers garnered their first conference victory.

On the season, Little has 123 saves, marking a new single-season record for Northwest. He is also the first Ranger to earn NJCAA Goalkeeper of the Week accolades since Carson Tackett on October 10, 2017.
