Miller Thorsen helped Northwest take the lead and the Rangers never looked back on Friday afternoon, scoring a 2-0 road win at Holmes.
For Northwest, the victory marked the first conference win for the Rangers, improving to 2-8-4 on the season and 1-5-1 inside the MACCC. Holmes dropped to 1-7-1 overall and 0-7 in conference play.
