JACKSON - For the second time this season, Northwest has had the duo of Mari Julia Delgado and Anna Kathryn Harrell earn MACCC Player of the Week honors in the same week.

Delgado earned her second MACCC Player of the Week award, while Harrell nabbed her sixth MACCC Goalkeeper of the Week honor.

In last weekend's Region 23 Tournament at Jones College, Delgado provided one goal and an assist to help Northwest earn the program's first region title. The Trinity, Ala. native scored in the 15th minute of the Lady Rangers' 1-0 shutout of Holmes in the semifinal match, before providing an assist in the 3-0 championship victory against Pearl River.

For Harrell, the Tupelo native posted two shutouts and compiled 11 saves in the two wins. She now owns 66 saves on the season and an 18-1-0 record.

Northwest is the second seed in the NJCAA Division II Women's Soccer National Championship tournament, which runs from November 12-18 in Tucson, Ariz. All matches will be carried via pay-per-view on the NJCAA Network.
