Northwest Remains Ranked in NJCAA Poll

CHARLOTTE - Although the 2023 season came to an end in Saturday's MACCC Semifinals, the Northwest football team is still present in this week's NJCAA rankings.

Northwest slid from 10th to 13th in the latest polls, released on Monday afternoon. The Rangers are 7-3 on the season.

Northwest is one of four MACCC teams in the national rankings, led by Copiah-Lincoln in the No. 4 slot. East Mississippi moved up two spots from eighth to sixth, while Mississippi Gulf Coast fell to No. 9.

Hutchinson (Kan.) remained at No. 1, thanks to its victory against Iowa Western, which also remained in its previous slot of No. 2 nationally. Kilgore College (Texas) and Snow College (Utah) are slotted at third and fifth, respectively.
