CHARLOTTE - Fresh off winning her third MACCC Goalkeeper of the Week honor, Northwest freshman Anna Kathryn Harrell has earned the same recognition from the NJCAA, the organization announced on Wednesday morning.

Harrell posted her 11th shutout of the season and her 12th victory of the season in a 1-0 thriller against then-No. 1 Holmes last Friday. The Tupelo native played all 90 minutes and kept the Lady Bulldogs off the board, helping Northwest to its first win against Holmes since October 2014.

Earlier this season, Harrell was named NJCAA Goalkeeper of the Week after helping the Lady Rangers to wins against nationally-ranked St. Louis and Southwestern Illinois back in early September.

Northwest (14-0, 7-0 MACCC) will host East Central on Friday, October 13 at 1 P.M. It will be Sophomore Day for the Lady Rangers, with sophomore recognition taking place just prior to the start of the match.

Live coverage will also be provided on Ranger TV.
