JACKSON - Anna Kathryn Harrell has been named by the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference as the Women's Goalkeeper of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday morning.  This marks the third conference award for the freshman goalkeeper from Tupelo.

Harrell had a career-defining performance in the Rangers' thrilling 1-0 victory against #1 Holmes last Friday. She tallied six saves and kept Holmes scoreless for the full ninety minutes, marking the first time the Lady Bulldogs have been shutout by an MACCC opponent since April 23, 2021. The win also marked the first victory for Northwest against Holmes since October 2014.

The Rangers have outscored their opponents this season by a whopping 95-1 total.  Harrell has given up one goal in 1042 minutes, spanning 12 games played, for a save percentage of 0.972.

The next test for Harrell and the top-ranked Rangers (14-0, 7-0) will be a home matchup with East Central on Friday, October 13, at 1:00 P.M.  You can catch the action live on RangerTV if you are unable to make it out to the Ranger Soccer Complex.
