SENATOBIA - With an exciting first week of college football now in the books, fans should get more of the same as we approach the second full weekend of the season.

As was the case for opening week, Northwest will once again have several former players in the national spotlight once again this weekend, including a couple of matches featuring former Rangers lining up on opposite sides of the ball.

One of those two matchups include a crosstown rivalry between Houston and Rice on CBS Sports Network. Former Ranger linebacker Desmyn Baker will help carry his Owls' team into the matchup against Jayce Rogers and the Cougars' defense.
