JACKSON - Northwest midfielder/defender
Peyton Coker earned First Team All-MACCC honors, the conference announced on Tuesday morning.
Coker, a departing sophomore from Olive Branch, was one of the bright spots during a tough season for the Rangers. The Lewisburg product led the team with three goals on the season and took nine shots on-goal, earning a .750 SOG percentage.
Coker tallied his first goal in a 1-1 draw at East Central on April 12 and scored once in each of the final two matches against Itawamba and Holmes. He wrapped up his career with four goals, including his only goal of the 2019 season in a neutral-site match against Wake Tech.
Prior to his stint at Northwest, Coker helped Lewisburg to an 18-1-1 overall record and a Class 5A state title, scoring eight goals and 10 assists as a senior.
