SENATOBIA - Sophomore midfielder
Jessica Jaimes is now the fourth member of the Northwest women's soccer program to sign to the four-year level, as the Olive Branch native signed with Faulkner University just before the Christmas holiday.
Jaimes joins teammates
Molly Rose (Georgia State),
Ally Bailey (Christian Brothers) and
Tori Dronet (Wayland Baptist) in advancing their athletic careers, the most since six Lady Rangers moved on to the four-year level in 2017.
After spending the 2019 season at Southwest Tennessee, Jaimes transferred to Northwest in time for the spring 2021 campaign. She played in all 11 matches last season and earned five starts, while playing in 15 of the Lady Rangers' 19 matches this season.
Jaimes' 2021 season highlight was an assist in a 6-0 victory against St. Charles on September 6. She took 11 total shots during her Northwest career.
Located in Montgomery, Ala., Faulkner competes as a member of the Southern States Athletic Conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Jaimes is the first Lady Ranger to join the program at Faulkner since
Angelica Justice in 2018.
