Box Score JACKSON - Freshman goalkeeper Xzavier Paylor collected eight saves, as Northwest came away with a scoreless tie at Belhaven on Monday evening.

For Northwest, the 0-0 draw marked the first tie of the season, moving the Rangers' record to 2-7-1 overall. 

Forwards Sidney Black, Jr., Logan Coker, Aaron Cook, Seth Santiago and Jesus Villegas each finished with one or more shots, but the Rangers couldn't quite get anything past the Blazers.

Northwest will return to the home pitch on Friday, October 8 for a 3 P.M. non-division battle against Southwest Mississippi. The match will be carried on Ranger TV (nwccrangers.com/watch).
