COLUMBUS – Northwest sophomore forward
Cam Donaldson will get the chance to continue his career at the four-year level after recently announcing his commitment to MUW.
"He's a model player," Northwest men's soccer coach
Mark Hogan said. "He works hard and does what he's asked to do. Cam is a great young man on and off the field, so (MUW coach) Louis Alexander and the Owls are getting a great athlete."
Donaldson spent two seasons with the Rangers and played in 25 career matches, earning five starts. The Byram native took 14 shots throughout his career with eight on goal, resulting in a .571 shot on goal percentage.
His lone Northwest goal came as a freshman in a tight 6-4 loss to Oxford-Emory on Sept. 22, 2018.
Prior to joining Northwest, Donaldson lettered at Terry High School in the Jackson metro area, where he helped guide the Bulldogs to a 10-12 overall record as a senior. He scored 29 goals over his junior and senior seasons at THS.
Better known athletically as The W, MUW finished 7-8-4 last season as a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
