Ex-Ranger Wesley Bush to Attend Giants Rookie Mini-Camp

NEW JERSEY – Former Ranger defensive back Wesley Bush will be one of nearly two dozen undrafted rookies at camp this weekend with the New York Giants.

Bush was invited to the Giants' rookie mini-camp, which will be held Friday and Saturday, May 3-4, at the team's facility in New Jersey. The two-day mini-camp will include all 10 players who made up the Giants' draft class and a slew of undrafted rookie free agents.

A product of Macon and Noxubee County High School, Bush played in 23 career games for the Rangers in 2015-16 and made a huge impact.

Bush helped Northwest to an 11-1 record and the team's third NJCAA national championship as a freshman. He started in 10 games as a sophomore and finished with 48 tackles, 10 passes defended and a team-high five interceptions.

He'd go on to finish his career at Middle Tennessee and help the Blue Raiders to back-to-back bowl games. Bush was a Second Team All C-USA selection as a senior, named the Most Improved safety after spring drills and earned the Grinder Award.

Bush played in 26 career games at Middle Tennessee, ending with 92 combined tackles and a team-best six interceptions (third in NCAA) as a senior.
