Angelica Justice to Continue Career at Faulkner University

SENATOBIA – Sophomore defender Angelica Justice became the next member of the Northwest women's soccer program to sign at the next level as she signed with Faulkner University on Wednesday morning.

"She has been a great player, teammate and leader over the last two years," Northwest women's soccer head coach Levi Nunnally said. "We play three in the back and she's meant a lot to us playing the center back position. She's composed and a very technical player that can take care of a lot of defensive issues that we encounter on the field. I think she will be successful at Faulkner and we wish her all the best."

Justice was a key defensive contributor in her two seasons with the Lady Rangers, starting 30 matches and helping Northwest to an 11-6 finish and the MACJC Semifinals as a freshman.

Originally positioned as a midfielder, the Maylene, Ala. native made the full-time switch to defender at the start of her sophomore season. She finished her career with one goal and four assists, while helping the Lady Rangers to 10 shutouts.

Justice joins Angel Hailey (ULM) as the second member of this year's club and 15th under Nunnally to continue their careers beyond Northwest.

Located in Montgomery, Ala., Faulkner competes at the NAIA level and is a member of the Southern States Athletic Conference.
