RIDGELAND – A total of six Northwest student-athletes have been chosen to participate in the 2018 MACJC Men's and Women's Soccer Sophomore All-Star games, hosted by Holmes Community College.

Both matches will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10 at Freedom Ridge Park in Ridgeland. The women's match will begin at 2 p.m., with the men's march to follow at 4:30.

Representing the Lady Rangers are goalkeeper Angel Hailey, forward Landyn Hoover and defender Angelica Justice. The sophomore trio of forward Parker Trawick, midfielder Isvi Torres and defender Jesse Wilson are the three selections from the Ranger men's team.

Northwest head coach Levi Nunnally will serve as the women's coach for the all-star contest.

The event serves as a showcase for the most outstanding sophomores in the MACJC and will allow four-year coaches the opportunity to get a closer look at the league's best players.
