SENATOBIA – Sophomore defender
Fleurit Madjitoloum will continue his collegiate soccer career beyond Northwest, signing with NAIA program York College on Friday.
"He's a great kid and a great player," Northwest men's soccer coach
Mark Hogan said. "He did everything right both on the pitch and in the classroom. Even though I only got to coach him for one season, I know he will succeed and do well at York for its men's soccer program."
In his two seasons with the Rangers, Madjitoloum started in 19 of 25 contests and played in all but one, scoring five goals for his career. Three of his goals came during the 2018 campaign, including two in a 5-2 loss at East Central in October.
Prior to Northwest, the Memphis native played for Kingsbury HS and helped the Falcons to back-to-back playoff appearances, along with Shelby County and regional championships. Madjitoloum also garnered Division I All-Metro Team honors from The Commercial Appeal.
Located in York, Neb., York College competes in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC). The Panthers finished the 2018 season at 10-8 overall and advanced to the KCAC Quarterfinals.
