Lasher Announces Commitment to University of the Ozarks

SENATOBIA – Northwest sophomore defender Sierra Lasher has committed to play soccer for Natalie Dreyer and the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Ark., for the next two seasons.

"I'm very happy for Sierra to continue her soccer career at Ozarks," Northwest head coach Levi Nunnally said. "Sierra has been a good player and a hard worker for our program and I know she will be a great asset to theirs. I wish Sierra, coach Dreyer and the Lady Eagles a successful 2017 season."

Lasher saw time at the forward, midfield and defender positions in her two seasons in Senatobia. She finished with three goals and six assists in 28 career starts and was an MACJC All-Star Game participant this season.

Off the field, Lasher is a two-time honoree on Northwest's Dean's List.

Prior to Northwest, Lasher scored 42 goals and added numerous assists during her four-year career at Olive Branch where she was a two-time all-conference and two-time DeSoto County All-Star selection.

The University of the Ozarks Eagles compete in the 12-team American Southwest Conference, one of the largest and most competitive intercollegiate athletic conferences in NCAA Division III.
