JACKSON – Northwest freshman center back
Angelica Justice and sophomore defensive center midfielder
Madison Thrasher have been named to the 2017 All-MACJC Women's Soccer Team, the conference office announced recently.
The duo helped the Lady Rangers post 10 shutouts, second-most in single season school history.
Justice, from Maylene, Ala., played and started in 16 of 17 matches in her first season as a Lady Ranger, scoring one goal and adding three assists.
Thrasher was a force to be reckoned with in the backfield for two seasons at Northwest, culminated by this year's all-conference honor. The New Hope product scored her first three collegiate goals this season, including the game-winner in Northwest's season-opening 3-0 win over Meridian.
The Lady Rangers finished the year 11-6 overall (4-4 north) with an MACJC semifinal playoff berth this season.
