SENATOBIA – Freshman Ashley Nelson continues to roll in weekly honors for her solid play in net, earning her fourth MACJC Goalkeeper of the Week honor it was announced on Monday.

The Horn Lake graduate had 15 saves in a 2-0 loss at 10th-ranked Jones County last Tuesday, marking a fifth time in seven matches that she's finished with double digit saves.

For the season, Nelson is 7-2-3 with 98 saves, a .951 saves percentage, eight shutouts and a 0.39 goals against average. Her lone two losses in net have come to the 10th and 11th-ranked teams in the NJCAA.

Nelson and the Lady Rangers will host Itawamba on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 2 p.m.
