HERNANDO – The Northwest women's soccer team participated in Donna's Run for a Remedy on Saturday, a 5K run/walk to help support breast cancer awareness.

The 5k was in honor of Donna (White) Fischer who passed away on Nov. 23, 2007 from breast cancer. This event will raise money to help women who are dealing with this disease in DeSoto County. They will achieve this goal by donating all monies, after costs, to The Wings Foundation in Southaven.
