SENATOBIA – Out of precautionary measures for family members on the coast who could be affected by the incoming tropical storms, Friday's matches against Pearl River have been canceled.

Pearl River is located in Poplarville and many families of student-athletes could be affected. Both athletic directors decided to cancel the matches late Thursday evening.

Northwest will return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 8 hosting Holmes at 2/4 p.m.
