GREENWOOD, Ind. - Four more Northwest Mississippi Community College student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators 2025-26 Academic All-America® At-Large team in the College Division.
All four of the Ranger honorees played on the gridiron for
Benjy Parker's Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference championship squad in 2025. This marks the largest representation in Northwest history, surpassing the three members selected in 2022. The four join women's soccer player Emma Jensen to bring Northwest's total to five honorees from the 2025-26 academic year.
Offensive lineman
Jordan Knox and linebacker
Jerry Wall III were named CSC Academic All-America® First Team, while offensive lineman
Reginhard Pierre-Nau and defensive back
Dre Riley were named to the second team.
Head Coach
Benjy Parker reflected on his players' accomplishments. "These are all great young men with bright futures. I'm very proud of those guys and wish them the best."
Knox, a business major from Rock Hill, S. C., carried a 3.93 GPA during his time in Senatobia. In the classroom, he was recognized on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (3.0+ GPA) and the President's List (3.75+ GPA) every semester.
On the field, he was a stalwart force on the line for a team that averaged 31.3 points per game and rolled to 4619 yards of total offense. He was selected as a First Team All-MACCC North lineman following the season.
"Jordan was an absolutely critical part of our 2025 championship team. He is very talented, competed hard every single day, and was a great leader for us. He will be highly successful and excel both in the classroom and on the field at the University of Kentucky," said offensive line coach
Jim Jones.
Wall, of Olive Branch, had a 3.54 GPA in the classroom and was selected First Team All-MACCC North, NJCAA Region 23 All-Region, and Honorable Mention NJCAA All-American for his efforts on the field in 2025. He was one of the leading tacklers for the Rangers with 61 total and had 9.5 tackles for a loss and 5.5 sacks.
He was a three-time selection to the AD's Honor Roll and was on the President's or Vice President's (3.5-3.74 GPA) List every semester on campus. He was also selected to the 2024-25 Academic All-MACCC and NJCAA All-Academic teams. Wall was a member of the 2024-25 MACCC Football Academic Team of the Year.
Defensive coordinator
Paige Anders spoke of the Charlotte signee's versatility when talking about his linebacker. "Jerry is very dependable both on and off the field. He is a great player and student."
Pierre-Nau, like Knox, was part of an offensive line that paved the way to a 10-2 record and a spot in the National Junior College Athletic Association's Division I Semifinals. He was recognized as a First Team All-MACCC North and NJCAA Region 23 All-Region selection for his play.
The sophomore from Jonesboro, Ga., maintained a 3.75 GPA and was also a three-time selection on the AD's Honor Roll. He was selected Academic All-MACCC and NJCAA All-Academic after his freshman season in 2024. Like Wall, Pierre-Nau was also a member of the MACCC Football Academic Team of the Year in 2024-25.
Jones also spoke highly of Pierre-Nau. "Reginard was here for two seasons at Northwest and it is no coincidence that he was a part of two MACCC championship teams. He is an outstanding football player, an outstanding student, and outstanding person all around. I have no doubt that he will achieve very high levels of success both in the classroom and on the football field at Charlotte."
Deondre Riley wraps up the selections for Northwest. Riley, of Charleston, posted a 3.71 GPA for the MACCC Champions and was recognized as a First Team All-MACCC North selection as a defensive back. He was second among defensive backs in total tackles for the Rangers with 46, and also had three tackles for a loss and returned a fumble recovery for a touchdown during the season. Riley was also a member of the MACCC Football Academic Team of the Year in 2024-25.
"Dre is a guy with a great personality who's a joy to be around. You're always going to get his best effort on the field and in the classroom," said defensive backs coach
Charles Jones about the Mississippi State signee.
The five CSC Academic All-America® selections in 2025-26 bring Northwest's total to nine all-time. Previous honorees include Spencer Cayten (baseball, 2017), Sam Brumfield (football, 2022), Michael Hiers (football, 2022), and Jacoby Jones (football, 2022).
