SENATOBIA – The official schedule for the 2026 Northwest Mississippi Community College football team has been released with several marquee games on the docket for the Rangers as the look to defend their Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference title for a third straight season.
The biggest change comes in the MACCC moving to a 10-game regular season beginning on the week of August 27th and ending on the week of October 29th, with the conference removing the bye week for all teams. Every team will play a five-game home and road schedule in the upcoming season.
The year opens with a trip to Jones College for the Rangers on August 27th and the other four road games set for September 10th at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, September 24th at Northeast Mississippi Community College, October 8th at Holmes Community College, and October 29th at East Mississippi Community College to close the season.
Northwest's home schedule will kick off with a rematch of the MACCC and Region 23 title game with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College making a trip to Senatobia on September 3rd. Mississippi Delta Community College will open the MACCC North Division schedule on September 17th at Ranger Stadium.
Homecoming will follow on October 1st with Coahoma Community College, and the Rangers will close the home portion of the season with back-to-back game at Bobby Franklin Field against Itawamba Community College on October 15th and Southwest Mississippi Community College on October 22nd.
The postseason will begin on November 5th with the semifinals at the top seeds from the North and the South, with the season culminating in the Mississippi Bowl on November 19th which will be hosted by the team with the best overall record.
