SENATOBIA – A total of 157 student-athletes from Northwest Mississippi Community College have been named to the Spring 2026 Athletic Director's Honor Roll, the college's athletic department announced on Wednesday.

Compiled by Athletic Director Jake Gordon and Academic Advisor Charlsey Kennedy, the list honors all student-athletes that have accomplished a 3.0 grade point average or higher, with a minimum of 12 hours earned. The list also recognizes overall team GPAs, as well as those of student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA for the semester.

Of the 157 student-athletes to be honored on the list, the Northwest baseball team had the most with 24 selected to the honor roll. Women's soccer had 19, and football finished closely behind with 18. Softball rounded out the top teams on the list with 15 student-athletes finishing with a 3.0 or better.

The rest of the teams were as follows: volleyball with 12, men's soccer with 11, women's tennis with nine, women's basketball and rodeo with eight each, and women's golf, men's basketball, and men's tennis closing out the list with seven each.

In addition, 41 student-athletes finished with 4.0 GPAs for the semester, with six coming from softball and women's soccer, respectively, to lead the way. Women's tennis had five, and baseball, men's golf, football, and volleyball all had four.  

Team-wise, the Rangers were paced by the women's tennis team, who finished with a 3.85 GPA in the spring. Women's soccer was close behind with a 3.72 and was in a mix of four other teams that finished with a 3.7 or better, including softball (3.713), volleyball (3.712), men's golf (3.7107), and women's golf (3.7105). Eleven teams finished with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, rounded out by men's tennis (3.53), baseball (3.32), football (3.21), women's basketball (3.16), and men's basketball (3.04)
