SENATOBIA - With college football season now entering its fifth week, teams are beginning to establish themselves as contenders or pretenders heading into the meat of their conference schedules.

In all, a total of 44 former Northwest football student-athletes will suit up for FBS and FCS programs this weekend.

The highlight matchup happens to be just down the road in Oxford where Tavion Prather (DL), Macaleb Taylor (RB) will be suiting up for #13 Ole Miss when they host the #4 LSU Tigers in the Grove. Kickoff is set for 2:30 pm and the game will be on ABC. 

That isn't the only game on ABC featuring a Ranger alum. Kicking off the day's coverage is Keshawn Davila (DB) and the Arkansas Razorbacks who will be traveling north to challenge the fighting Irish of Notre Dame. 

Speaking of Arkansas, after upsetting the Razorbacks, Memphis and a trio of NWCC alums will be hitting conference play when Rayyan Buell (DL), Sam Brumfield (LB), Tanner Gillis (P/K) travel to Florida Atlantic to try and keep their undefeated season alive. Kickoff is at 6:00 pm on ESPN2. 

Two other ranked teams will feature a Ranger on them this week. #20 Missouri will host UMass at 6:30 pm and Stephen Hall (DB) will be suiting up for the Tigers. At the FCS level, Jackson State enters the week at #17 and will be traveling to Southern along with Dimonyai Lacey (DL) and B.J. Washington (DB).
