SENATOBIA - Following another historic season which yielded an MACCC regular season championship, the Northwest volleyball program has sent three more players to the four-year level.

Rachel Stegall (Blue Mountain Christian University) and defensive specialist
Ally Grimes (MUW) have all signed to four-year programs, marking four members of the Lady Rangers' 2024 squad to continue their careers at the next level. Middle blocker
Kaya Coleman was the first Northwest player to sign, joining Lincoln Memorial University last December.
A native of Bartlett, Tenn., Lott totaled 142 blocks over her two-year career, finishing in a tie for third all-time with Kailey Gooch (2022-23). Lott also played in 75 matches during the span of her career, ranking second all-time and only one behind record-holder
Layla Dyer.
During her sophomore season, Lott also tallied 77 blocks, finishing only second to teammate Coleman. For her efforts, she earned Honorable Mention All-MACCC accolades.
Stegall made a solid impact in her lone season at Northwest, as the Flowood native and William Carey University transfer ranked second on the team in kills, earning 314 and finishing just behind
Maddie Smith for the team lead. Stegall also totaled a team-high 75 service aces for the season, finishing second in the program record books for single-season and career service aces.
Stegall collected First Team All-MACCC honors and was chosen as an All-NJCAA Region 23 selection.
Grimes totaled 260 digs on the season, the team's fourth-highest total, while also adding 58 assists. The Southaven native concluded her two-year stint at Northwest by playing in 73 career matches, trailing only Dyer and Lott for most career matches played.
Since the Lady Rangers' inception in the spring of 2021, 13 of coach
Allison Burchyett's student-athletes have moved on to four-year programs. Last offseason, five Northwest players moved on to the four-year level.
Burchyett and the Lady Rangers compiled a 25-9 overall record during the 2024 campaign and an 8-2 record in the MACCC.
