SENATOBIA - A career night on the football field drew the attention of the MACCC as sophomore
Keon Hutchins earned his first career Offensive Player of the Week award thanks to a standout performance against Southwest Mississippi Community College on Thursday night.
The wide receiver from Union High School had the third most receiving yards in a game with 216 on just six receptions, including three for over 50 yards. A pair of those were 62-yard touchdown receptions and he added a third on a 24 yard pass that opened the scoring for the Rangers on the way to a 33-13 win over the Bears.
Hutchins has 19 receptions on the season for 442 total yards and has four touchdowns and in his career has amassed over 500 yards and has five touchdowns in 15 games. He leads the team in receiving yards by 120 and his average reception length of over 23 yards per catch is also tops on the roster.

The Rangers and Hutchins will be back at home against Mississippi Delta Community College for homecoming this Thursday night at 7:00 pm.
