Rangers Finish With Draw at Southern Union State

Box Score OPELIKA, Ala. - Thanks to a pair of goals from freshman Tyler Starnes and sophomore Soren Voges-Haupt, Northwest left Tuesday's road match at Southern Union State with a 2-2 draw.

Northwest moved to 1-3-1 on the season with the tie, which is the first of coach Michael Sullivan's tenure. The last time the Rangers had a match end in a draw was a 0-0 tie at Belhaven on October 4, 2021.

Northwest will return to the home pitch on Friday, September 13 with a match against Blue Mountain Christian JV. The opening whistle is slated for 7 P.M. with broadcast coverage provided on Ranger TV.
