Box Score SENATOBIA - Tied 22 apiece at halftime in Saturday's NJCAA Region 23 Tournament opener, Northwest fell victim to a 26-7 run from Meridian in the third quarter, as the Lady Rangers' season came to an end with a 58-55 loss.

Northwest trailed 48-29 entering the fourth quarter, only to rally back with a 26-10 run of its own over the final 10 minutes. Despite Meridian's troubles at the free throw line, the Lady Rangers were unable to get a final shot off with four seconds left, securing the narrow win for the Lady Eagles.

With the loss, Northwest ends its season at 15-11 overall. Meridian advances to face Southwest Mississippi on Monday evening in Summit, with the winner moving on to the tournament semifinals at Mississippi College later next week.
