SENATOBIA - With the 2024-25 season halfway in the books, the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association has revealed the spring schedule for the Ozark Region.
Five events make up the spring slate, highlighted by the annual Ranger Rodeo, hosted by Northwest at Senatobia's Lawrence "Bud" Young Arena. Once again, the event will serve as the Ozark Region finale and is scheduled for April 24-26.
Newcomer Arkansas Tech will kick off the spring slate, hosting an event from March 6-8 in Searcy, Ark. The next two weekends will feature events in the Magnolia State, first at East Mississippi (March 13-15) and the following weekend at Pearl River (March 20-22).
Prior to the Ranger Rodeo, UT-Martin will play host to an event the weekend of April 17-19.
Northwest currently sits at No. 4 in the men's team standings, while the Lady Rangers are fifth in the women's region standings.
Dakota Smith and
Luke Stanley rank first and second in the bull riding standings, while
Christian Cagle and
Will Collier hold the top two slots in the steer wrestling region standings.
