MCKINNEY, Texas - In what was an early back-and-forth battle on Thursday morning, the Jones College duo of Tanner Bevard and Charlie Brady defeated Samuel Turner and Bratton Willoughby by an 8-3 final, ending Northwest's stay in the NJCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championships.

Turner and Willoughby's 8-0 win in doubles consolation on Wednesday afternoon was the only victory Northwest picked up in the tournament, though it served as the Rangers' first-ever national tournament win. It also marked the end of a statement season for Irvin, who guided Northwest to six wins and a Top 25 national ranking in the ITA JUCO polls.

Northwest concludes the regular season with a 6-8 overall record.
