MCKINNEY, Texas - Only a handful of consolation matches were played on the second day of the NJCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship on Tuesday, leading to very few results for Northwest.

Inclement weather has been one of the factors in backing up the tournament, causing the schedules to be tweaked across the board. For the Rangers, two doubles and a singles match were the only matches played.

In the back draw of Flight 3 Singles, Kaleb Parish fell 8-4 in a single-set, pro-style scoring match to Meridian's Will McCullough. Later, Parish and John David Nelson dropped an 8-3 result to the duo of Hudson Harden and Alex Jaulin of Wallace State-Hanceville, ending Parish's postseason.

In Flight 1 Doubles consolation, Chris Albert and Ian Gordon fell 8-1 to Gabriel Cuenca and Dante Despontin of Pratt Community College, ending the duo's doubles' run.

All other consolation matches will be played today, weather permitting. The earliest matches will begin at 9:30 A.M. and results can be tracked here. A full schedule of matches is listed below, but subject to change.
