Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 NEW ALBANY - A last-minute adjustment to the schedule did little to faze the Northwest tennis teams, as the Rangers and Lady Rangers made the short trip to Northeast on Thursday morning, leaving with a pair of 9-0 and 6-3 victories for the men and women's teams.

Northwest improved to 6-6 overall on the men's side, while also garnering a 6-3 MACCC record. The win also helped the Lady Rangers to a 4-8 record on the season and a 4-5 record against conference opponents.

Chris Albert and Ian Gordon kicked off the clean sweep with an 8-0 victory at No. 1 doubles against the Northeast duo of Jeb Jackson and Brady Talley. After sweeping the doubles portion, the Rangers got shutout wins in singles from Albert and Bratton Willoughby, while Peter Floyd earned his second consecutive singles win at No. 6 against Brooks Brand, earning the 6-1, 6-1 decision.

Holly Stewart and Raney Peacock shut out their doubles opponent in the No. 1 slot, while Amelia Anding and Grace Ann Wade scored an 8-1 win at No. 2 against Jordyn Foster and Lee Ellen Kelley. From there, the Lady Rangers swept courts one through four to clinch the team victory.

Northwest will return to the home court one final time this season, hosting Mississippi Gulf Coast on Tuesday, April 4. The Lady Bulldogs are 12th in the most recent ITA Rankings, while the men are currently ranked 15th. First serve is scheduled for 2 P.M. at The ROC.
