Northwest to visit Copiah-Lincoln for MACCC Semifinals

CHARLOTTE - Following last week's comeback victory against No. 13 Northeast, Northwest has risen five spots in the latest NJCAA rankings, released Monday afternoon.

Northwest (7-2, 5-1 MACCC North) clinched its 10th straight playoff berth with last week's win against the Tigers, the longest postseason streak in program history. The Rangers will travel to Copiah-Lincoln on Saturday, November 11 for a 2 P.M. kickoff, facing a Wolves' team that moved up to No. 4 in the rankings.

Mississippi Gulf Coast and East Mississippi are ranked sixth and eighth this week, and the two teams will face each other in Scooba for the other MACCC semifinal matchup. Jones College rounds out the poll at No. 15, despite missing out on the postseason, while Northeast is unranked but receiving votes.

Hutchinson (Kan.) and Iowa Western are ranked No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, as both teams remain unbeaten. Kilgore College (Texas) checks in at No. 3, while Snow College (Utah) is currently fifth.
