SENATOBIA - Monday's scheduled basketball doubleheader will be a little shorter than previously expected.

Late Sunday evening, Northwest confirmed that the Lady Rangers' non-conference home contest against East Central has been canceled. Although the game will not be made up, the two teams will meet again later this season in conference play, with that matchup scheduled for January 30 at 6 P.M. in Decatur.

Monday's home men's basketball matchup against Arkansas State Mid-South will remain at 7:30 P.M. as scheduled, with live coverage on Ranger TV (nwccrangers.com/watch) and Action News 5 Plus. Live stats will also be available to follow here.

Fans will still have one more chance to catch the Lady Rangers in action before the extended Christmas break, as Northwest hosts Arkansas State Mid-South on Thursday, December 1 at Howard Coliseum. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 P.M., with live coverage again provided on Ranger TV and Action News 5 Plus.
