Box Score BOONEVILLE - Behind a pair of big performances from sophomore Morgan Hodum and freshman I'Yana Ragin, Northwest rallied from a first quarter deficit to earn a 75-58 triumph at Northeast on Thursday evening.

Northeast led 18-14 at the end of the first quarter and 22-14 early in the second quarter, before the Lady Rangers finished the final eight minutes of the first half on a 20-6 run, building a halftime lead of 34-28.

Northwest kept the momentum rolling into the second half, as the Lady Rangers outscored Northeast 24-9 in the third quarter. Although the Lady Tigers rebounded with 21 points over the final 10 minutes, Northwest held on for the 17-point victory.

Ragin led all scorers with 21 points, while Hodum added 11 of her 13 points in the first half. Freshman Kolten Blakeney finished short of a double-double with seven points and a team-high 10 rebounds.

Northwest shot 46 percent from the floor and 50 percent from three-point range. Northeast finished with 32 percent shooting, but struggled from beyond the arc at 17 percent.

Calysia Phillips led the Lady Tigers with 17 points and Brittney Oswalt scored nine points on 11 rebounds.
