BLUE MOUNTAIN – Just days after Northwest teammate
Mallory Russell signed to continue her basketball career at Blue Mountain College, Lady Rangers' guard
Lindsay Hall has also made her college decision official and plans to join the Lady Toppers next season.
In her two seasons in Senatobia, Hall became one of the Lady Rangers' primary sharpshooters from beyond the arc, hitting a career total of 89 three-pointers (6th all-time) with 268 attempts (9th) for a 33.2 outside shooting percentage (8th).
"Lindsay has truly left a positive impact on our program," Northwest women's basketball coach
Troy Howell said. "She will always be considered part of the Northwest family and will always be a friend of the program. We wish her the best of luck and can't wait to see what she does for the Blue Mountain program."
Hall averaged 7.8 points per game over her Northwest career, including a 9.6 average as a sophomore. The Ingomar native also started in 45 career games, collecting 80 assists and 23 steals.
Like Russell, Hall also played a vital role down the postseason stretch for the Lady Rangers, averaging 10.6 points per game, including an average of 8.0 points from three-point range. Additionally, she shot 38 percent from the floor and 44 percent from beyond the arc, while totaling nine assists and six rebounds to earn a nod to the NJCAA All-Region 23 Tournament team.
Hall becomes the fourth member of the Lady Rangers' 2019-20 squad to sign to the four-year level, joining Russell at Blue Mountain and the duo of
Kayla Freeman and
Tamarah Sykes, who inked with Mississippi College in May. This marks the most four-year signees in a single season for Northwest since 2012-13.
As a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, Blue Mountain College competes in the Southern States Athletic Conference. The Lady Toppers finished 8-16 last season.
